Teaching Your Kids About God

When God transforms lives affected by addiction, it changes the lives of entire families.
One of the sisters of our Women's Ministry recently wrote this beautiful letter to her children to teach them about God, prayer, and how they can change your life in good times and bad.
It was powerful and inspiring, and we're so glad she was willing to share it.

The Refuge Women's Ministry

Our 13-month Women's Residential Ministry opened earlier this year, and God has already blessed the sisters there with incredible growth and transformation.

Now, they're sharing their inspiring stories with the hope that they will encourage others who are still struggling with addiction.

Bunk Beds

We Need Bunk Beds!

The Refuge is growing, and we need bunk beds for both our Men's and Women's Ministries!

Have some you can donate? You can email info@therefugeohio.org or call 614-991-0131 to let us know.

Thank you for your help to change lives affected by addiction.

Baptisms!

Sunday was an incredible day for our Women's Ministry.

The first 3 women who joined us earlier this year were all baptized!

It has been so powerful to watch God working through Areil, Jenna, and Ashley.

We have seen incredible transformation in all of them, as well as the other sisters, but witnessing their baptisms was truly remarkable. God is so great!

"Every Woman Deserves That"

The Refuge is about more than just getting sober. It's about teaching men and women that they are children of God who have value, and who are loved.

If you're struggling with addiction and ready to change your life, please join us Monday for Orientation (Intake).

We will welcome new men and women to our Ministry, and we want you to be one of them.

Ariel

Unconditional Love

Tired of living with addiction? Ready to make a real and lasting change?

Ariel did just that. She joined our Women's Ministry in March and is one of the sisters there transforming their lives together through Christ.

You can do it, too. Join us Monday to learn how our FREE (no cost, no insurance needed) Ministry can help you leave addiction behind.

Courage And Strength

Courage and strength are two things we see a lot of in both our Men's and Women's Ministries.

It's not always easy to admit you have a problem with addiction.

It's not easy to join a Ministry that lasts 13 months.

Sometimes it's not even easy for people to accept Christ into their lives.

Our Women's Ministry just opened in March, and we're already seeing God at work in the lives of the sisters there.

One of them shared her testimony at a Monday Open Orientation about how a relationship with God had helped her overcome obstacles she never could have before.

Women's Ministry Bearing Fruit

Our Women's Ministry just opened in March, and we're already seeing God at work in the lives of the sisters there.

One of them shared her testimony at a Monday Open Orientation about the transformation she had seen and felt in herself.

Women's Ministry Crafts Activities

Aspirational Art At The Women's House

One of our wonderful volunteers came in to help the sisters of the Women’s Ministry put these together this week.

They all picked one word they wanted to describe themselves when they leave The Refuge.
