Awarding A Courage Cross

A man or woman's journey through The Refuge is full of milestones. The first is the awarding of the Courage Cross.
We hand it out to people who complete their first week in the ministry. It takes 13 months to complete, but that first week is often the toughest.
This week, Frankie (left) got his Courage Cross from Bob Heiny, one of our Phase 1 Coordinators.

Get In Shape!

Being at The Refuge is about more than just getting clean off drugs.

We want men to be healthy emotionally, mentally, and physically.

This is some of the brothers at Phase One working out to get in better shape.

Bill Is Phasing Up!

We are so grateful to God for the growth we have seen in Bill over the past month. This week, he is phasing up to phase 2.

Bill has brought harmony and peace to the farm in Vinton County, and the coordinators and brothers there will truly miss him.

A Beautiful Day At Phase One

"Morning radio" down at Phase One today.

It was a nice morning, so we went out in the woods by the cross.

Phase Up!

Two brothers completed their first month at The Refuge this weekend and are phasing up today.

Matt Ward and Jason Burke both read their resolutions Sunday evening.

Monday, they will leave our farm in Vinton County and get ready to head to Lancaster for the next step in their journey.

Phase Up!

One of the most rewarding parts of our Ministry is witnessing the growth in every man and woman during their time here.
This week, Tony Farabe completed his first month and moved on to Phase 2 of The Refuge.
His personal and spiritual growth has been an inspiration to the guys behind him, and we're excited to see him continue to grow in his relationship with Christ.

Courage Crosses

The first week at The Refuge can be the hardest for many guys. Three new brothers just completed their first week and received Courage Crosses.
Jason, Edwin, and Matt - we are proud of what you have already achieved, and are excited to see you continue to grow in Christ.

Four Men Complete Their First Month

Four men completed their first month in our Minstry this week.

They all moved from Vinton County to Lancaster to continue their personal and spiritual growth in Phase 2.

We are so grateful to God for the transformation we have already witnessed in Jordan Lacy, Phillip Linehan, Xavier Carroll, and Matt Kellough.

An Amazing Day Of Brotherhood

The guys from Phase 2 came back to visit Vinton County this weekend for an awesome day of brotherhood.

They went swimming in Raccoon Creek, played games, shared their stories and encouragement for the brothers behind them in the Ministry.
