Thank you to everyone who helped make our Project 614 Open House such a success tonight.

We loved getting a chance to visit with great friends from Hillcrest Baptist, Moms2Be (Hilltop/Franklinton), Friends of the Hilltop, Hilltop Area Commission, Recovery Works Columbus, Homes on the Hill, Veritas Community Church, Electrical Service Professionals, and also with some of our Refuge Alumni.

It’s our second completed house – we call it “New Sullivant” and it will soon be home to men who have gone through our program.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to help us serve our community by rebuilding crumbling house, but also a chance to provide the guys with a wonderful place to truly call home.

We’re already hard at work on our third home on Wheatland Ave. We hope we’ll be holding another open house there in just a couple months!

If you’d like to help make it happen, we’re looking for financial donations to offset expenses such as electrical, plumbing, drywall, roofing, carpet, and paint. We would also love to get any of the following new or gently-used items:

  • Hot water heater
  • Electric supplies
  • Plumbing fixtures
  • Kitchen cabinets
  • Bathroom cabinets
  • Appliances (2 ovens, 2 refrigerators, 2 washer/dryers)
  • Kitchen sinks
